Updates & A Change of Plans!

Hello Friends,

Just a few updates to share with you on the journey!

Takeaways!

We have worked out that we are given about £80 a week for food as frankly both me and my mother are disabled and cannot cook so we rely on takeaway services.

But we have worked out that if we save that money and me and my girl live off TV Dinners for the remainder of our saving plan we should rack up roughly £8850 which is a whopping £850 above our target... this on top of me saving has allowed us to change our plans somewhat!

Change of Plans:

So I know you have been kept in the dark some on what my plans are just in case my girls decides to have a peek but we both discussed this merrily and have decided to change the plans somewhat and add an extension onto our vacation plans.

We intend to purchase a Hurley 22 later in the year which is a small day sailor or a boat in layman's terms and we plan to sail this across the channel which will already save us about £500 on flights!

We will take this up the canal/river at Le Mavre and sail it into Paris! below is a picture of the boat and of the maps, we will be traveling along the red line from Exmouth to Cherbourg then across to to Le Mavre, we may also be taking a quick stop to look at Omaha Beach or the D-Day landing site!

Capital Exchange Update and Announcement!

A great day today as me and my girl are going for our first Karate lesson. I hope that this will enable us to be better prepared for anything else that may put us in danger and help us both emotionally.

Now onto the Capital Exchange huh?

So from all the custom work I'd done in SL along with my main job at VAW and the Freestyling on my guitar I have made 26,517 Lindens! that is not bad for a months work which I think translates into about £60 ($100) if we keep getting money like this then our trip will definitely be happening!

Now as you may or may not know I have invested all of that into the SL Capital Exchange which yes is a risk but the company I have invested in has a good CEO in charge and has a pretty good chance at bringing in a large return!

The IPO sold them for 1 Linden per share so I brought exactly 26,517 shares which is not to bad! of course they sold pretty quick (within an hour) and then the price rose... if I sell now at... 1.18 per share I would net 31,000 Lindens which is a good 5K profit.. in space of an hour!(tasty huh?)

Now I don't plan to sell any time soon... I will keep hold of them for I imagine about 4 months at which point after dividends are paid enough the price should go up... I'm hoping for a minimum of 6 per share which would net us about 120,000 lindens (£380, $440) not bad right? and of course I'll be collecting monthly dividends as well and I hate to imagine what those will be!

So there you have it an update as promised.... I'm also going to be adding a few pieces of work to my Portfolio so please head on over to "Hire Me!" and take a look!

Capital Exchange & Money Box!

Fellow Savers,

It has been a glorious week indeed and a lot has happened for me in terms of savings...

So where do I begin? I suppose at the beginning... I have done the fund check thing on the Disney website and it turns out we are looking good at our current saving plan of £80 a month, though in actual fact I plan to put in £120 a month so we should be well over our due... this means this is not just a race but has turned into a race between going broke and going rich... I think we all deserve to pretend to be rich at least once in our lives right? (and vice versa!)

Now onto our top news this morning!

1, Stock Exchange

For those of you in Secondlife who are following this journal and my goals to make 800,000 Lindens (Roughly £2000) within 3 years time will be happy to know the money is not sitting in my account going to waste! for all the money I make I am investing back into SL! into its small companies and into it's economy!

This means that for every linden that goes into it I should make a return on it in due course time... (Yes it IS risky but if you play it smart then when the losing time comes you lose very little) I have chosen to fund a new IPO that is coming to the market on Tuesday... all of my saved funds will go into this as if I calculated correctly in about 8 to 9 months time the return should be over 900% and this means I should make myself a good 200,000 Lindens... granted that is if all goes well but from my own research this company looks like it will rise through the coming months!

2, Money Box

Now onto 2... I know for those of you in the real World not as glamorous as Mr Stock Exchange above BUT I have now gotten myself the money box so now I can finally save all the loose change I accumulate!

Picture of the Money Box, Why yes it does have £3 in it...

Please also some good and bad news on the "About Her" page... I'd be happy if you all took a look for me.... and for her...

New Journal!

Hey,

I'm starting this Journal so I can not only keep track of all the money I've saved for the proposal and wedding but to share it with the people that are helping make it happen and the casual readers of the internet looking for something to do 5 minutes each day.

Do not fret though she has already said yes, I just feel I cannot accept a yes until I have asked her in such a way that truly warrants a yes (such as her dream vacation) if all goes to plan only then will I accept her agreement and marry her!

I hope to add a gadget to the side of this page to keep track of and display the current saved total, right now there is some stipulation whether or not that should be a text counter that I can manually edit or something like GoFundMe.com so not only I can add to the overall funds but my readers can also contribute if they feel the need to! so please I'll put up a poll on the right... if you could be as kind to vote in it for me?

Now moving on you probably want to know a bit more about me and my girl? take a look at the "About Me" section of this Journal to find out everything you could ever want to know about me, check out "Disclaimer" to find out about my girl...

A word of warning however, she was involved in a very serious... "problem" recently that has take a strain on her... she has been hurt very badly and as asked that for the time being I keep her name and her off of the Journal. Do not panic though I am doubly sure she will want to get involved a bit later when problems here have settled down.....

That is the reason I decided to take her on this vacation...  she needs this as much as I do.
